Kai Lani, a gated oceanfront community of town homes, is located at the entrance to the Ko Olina Resort & Marina. It consists of twenty-nine buildings, each housing four town home units, and was built in three phases. Hawaiian for “Heavenly Water,” the design concept was inspired by the traditional kama’aina beach home and reflects the architectural style of the 1930’s.

Large lawn areas with Coconut Palms at the perimeter provide maximum ocean views while creating a shared “back yard”, allowing residents to interact and providing space for passive recreational activities.

Flowering canopy trees such as Hong Kong Orchid, Plumeria varieties, Puakenikeni, and Royal Poinciana provide screening between units and the roadways.

Flowering tropical shrubs such as Gingers, Heliconias and Hibiscus provide accent and color at the entries to the units.

Salt and wind tolerant plants such as ‘Queen Emma’ Spider Lily are planted on the makai sides of the units.
